RE: M & M Autopak Pty Ltd
To whom it may concern
I have known M & M Autopak for over 5 years and I have engaged them to carry out several production line relocation projects during my work at Rheem Australia and the Kanji Group Pty. Ltd. During my dealings with M & M Autopak I have always found their managers and staff to act professionally and competently as well as adhering to industry best practice safety guidelines. They can provide a turnkey service to facility equipment installations and relocations incorporating all mechanical, electrical, and transport works from disconnection right through to commissioning and start-up.
In 2018 M & M Autopak undertook a major plant relocation for the Kanji Group when we purchased the Shade-master Business from Hunter Douglas at Rydalmere NSW. This project involved moving several Roll Forming and Panel Lines along with all the ancillary equipment to support the production to our existing Bondor Factory at Wetherill Park. In addition to this, they also moved a Coil Slitting to our Coil Steels Business in Notting Hill Melbourne. This project was undertaken as a turnkey relocation service where they co-ordinated all mechanical, electrical, and transport activities to facilitate the move and recommissioning of the machinery. The total project value of all the relocation works was approximately $250,000.
Currently, M & M Autopak is in the process of completing another project for the Kanji Group at United Steels Riverstone. This project involves the Mechanical Installation of a used FICEP Structural Beam Processing Line that was purchased from the United Kingdom from a 2nd Hand Machinery Merchant who had earlier removed the equipment. The FICEP Beam Line incorporates all the handling equipment that moves the Structural Beams between three separate fully automatic process machines that include a Drill, Saw, and Coping Robot. This project had its unique challenges as the equipment came with little supporting drawings and documentation as to how the equipment went together and required a lot of coordination to modify the equipment to suit the Riverstone Factory layout. The installation also incorporated new guarding and platforms to upgrade the line to comply with the latest safety standards. The total project value of the mechanical installation and fabrication works is approximately $150,000.
I have no hesitation in using M & M Autopak for any future equipment installation or relocations going forward or recommending them to any other companies that require similar work completed.
